We offer a range of clubs for students of different ages:
Holy Trinity Student Council (Stu/Co) works to plan and organize activities and projects that foster the social growth and civic development of the Holy Trinity students. The members assist the school in other projects that benefit our students, school, and community. It is also the purpose of the student council to give the students a voice in matters that affect them.
Art Club is open to any student interested in pursuing art outside the classroom. We meet in two different 5 week sessions for the upper and lower grades after school on Tuesdays. Students will continue to increase appreciation of the visual arts by developing and exploring creative experiences.
Bellarmine Speech League
The Speech League is organized and run by a group of 20+ volunteer board members. Students in grades 5-8 develop and improve their public speaking skills by memorizing and performing material in Humorous, Serious, and Duet categories. Students compete in three Speech Meets and one final meet with teams from other schools within the St. Louis Archdiocese during the school year. Ribbons are awarded to participants based upon the total score received from two judges and a possible trophy at the final meet.
Nina Ashby is the head coach at Holy Trinity and on the Bellarmine Board as well. She is always looking for volunteers to help her prepare the students and be a judge for our school.
Please contact her at school or at home if you are interested.
We partner with Palmer Music Education Services (636-225-3040) to offer instrumental instruction in our school building. Students meet before school starts every Wednesday to work with their band teacher and to practice with their fellow students. They can choose any instrument, including guitar and piano.
In the fall and spring, weather permitting, students run or walk the field next to the Preschool between 7:30 and 7:45 am. They earn a “happy foot” token for their shoelace for every mile they complete.
