Principal: Ms. Margaret Ahle
Ms. Ahle started teaching full-time when her youngest daughter entered Kindergarten in 1976. She has an undergraduate degree in Art Education from Fontbonne and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Saint Louis University. She has been a principal since 1990. She has two children and seven grandchildren, three in Missouri and four in Savannah, GA. Three of those are triplets! Ms. Ahle loves God and her life, especially her family and friends. She really enjoys cooking and target shooting with a pistol or rifle, and she can’t wait to draw and paint again when she retires. In her free time she reads, reads and reads some more! She loves being a principal and can’t believe she gets paid to do something that is so rewarding!
Preschool: Ms. Donna Girtman
Ms. Girtman teaches the Pre-kindergarten class in our Preschool Program. She is known to everyone as “Miss Donna”. She has been a part of the faculty team at Holy Trinity since 2002. Before that time she taught Kindergarten at St. William School so she knows what her four year old students need to go on to Kindergarten. She knew at an early age that teaching was going to be her passion. She believes it is a gift to see the world through the eyes of a child!
Pre-school Aids, Mrs. Elena Romero and Mrs. Beth Gutzler
Mrs. Elena Romero has worked in Ritenour’s Parents as Teachers Program as a Parent Educator for many years and she is certified as a translator for Ritenour as well. The students love her gentle kindness and she is wonderful with our preschool students still learning English.
Mrs. Beth Gutzler is our second preschool aid. She has her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Business Administration. She is also wonderful with the students, having four of her own under the age of eight. We are blessed with a wealth of talent, dedication, and love in our Preschool staff.
Kindergarten: Mrs. Kim Frazzetta
Mrs. Frazzetta joined the Holy Trinity School staff in August of 2016. She came to us with eight years experience as an elementary school teacher. She taught 5th and 6th grade Language Arts her first year at Holy Trinity and now is teaching Kindergarten. Mrs. Frazzetta also works in our Title I Program.
Kindergarten Resource: Mrs. Judy Hager
Ms. Hager earned her Bachelor of Science in education and reading from Arkansas State University and her Master of Arts in Education from Webster University. In Arkansas she taught in Little Rock, Benton, Memphis, and Jonesboro. In 1969 she joined the staff at Pattonville School District and in 1979 she began teaching at St. William. She came to Holy Trinity in 2002 and has been a valued member of our staff ever since.
The first grade teacher, Mrs. Laura Mathews, has been teaching at Holy Trinity since 2005. She has a great appreciation for Catholic education having attended Catholic elementary school and high school herself. Mrs. Mathews attended Southeast Missouri State University as an undergraduate and Lindenwood University as a graduate. She also holds a Reading Specialist Degree. Mrs. Mathews loves sharing her enthusiasm for reading with her first graders. She also coordinates the reading programs Book It! and Six Flags Read to Succeed for grades K-6.
Second Grade: Mrs. Nina Ashby
Mrs. Nina Ashby has been teaching 2nd grade at Holy Trinity since 2007. She graduated with a BS in Education from UM-St. Louis and completed her student teaching in Fu Xin, China. She enjoys working with 2nd graders, especially as they prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. She is a team leader for Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline, and she helps with planning and singing at Mass each week. Mrs. Ashby is also the head of the Bellarmine Speech Team at Holy Trinity as well as a board member for the Archdiocese. In her free time she enjoys building and playing with her young daughter and son.
Mr. Dan Field earned his teaching degree at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He is currently working on his graduate degree in Special Education. His teaching career began in 2013 here at Holy Trinity, and he has been overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of our community, from administration and faculty to students and parents. He looks forward to many years of teaching here.
Fourth Grade: Miss Maria Walter
Miss Walter was a substitute teacher and long-term sub for three years after graduating from Rockhurst with her teaching degree. She was excited to begin teaching her own class in the fall of 2015. She works as a mentor with teenagers, helping them strengthen their Catholic Faith. She loves working with technology to increase her students’ achievement. She is energetic, dedicated, and determined to give her students a wonderful classroom experience.

Mrs. Gayle O’Neill
Mrs. Gayle O’Neill has been teaching since 1991 and has been at Holy Trinity School since its inception. A lifelong resident of St. Louis, she graduated from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, with a degree in education, specializing in exercise science. She has three adult children and five grandchildren. In addition to teaching, Mrs. O’Neill is very passionate about the St. Louis Cardinals and has been employed by the Cardinal organization since 2006. She helped write and implement the curriculum for the Cardinal Academic Program (CAP), is a supervisor for stadium tours, and is the supervisor for the Family Pavilion at Busch Stadium during Cardinal games.

Mrs. Nancy Delleville
Mrs. Nancy Delleville teaches 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. She began teaching at St. Kevin and continued with Holy Trinity. Her classroom has been her “homeroom” for 21 years!
Mrs. Delleville is originally from Boston, and you can tell sometimes when she drops her r’s. She has two sons who are married, two granddaughters and two Maine Coon cats.

Mrs. Lindsey Schweitzer
Mrs. Lindsey Schweitzer holds a bachelor degree is English and mathematics from Hope College. Her teaching experience has included high school and middle school, as well as a year of teaching English in Japan! Originally from Michigan, she joined the faculty at Holy Trinity when she moved to St. Louis in the spring of 2012 and teaches our upper-grade math, 8th grade social studies, and 8th grade homeroom. She is a Google Certified Educator and coordinates our technology services, and she is a member of our VBRD committee. Mrs. Schweitzer has two young sons and loves spending her time outside of school playing with them and watching them grow!

Ms. Delia Dorantes
Art Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8: Mrs. Kate Eckelkamp
Mrs. Marcy Poelker has been teaching at Holy Trinity School since 2002. She graduated with a BS in Education from Southeast Missouri State University.
Mrs. Poelker plans and directs four musical programs each year, giving each student, K-8, a chance to perform on stage. She also helps the students learn and practice the songs used at Mass each week. Mrs. Poelker enjoys teaching at Holy Trinity and likes being part of a staff that is dedicated to helping students grow in their faith through loving and serving God.
Director of Religious Education, Deacon George Watson
Deacon George Watson, Director of Religious Education, has worked in Religious Education for 20 + years. He has a bachelors degree in Church History from St. Meinrad College, a Masters in Pastoral Studies with a emphasis on Liturgy from Aquinas Institute of Theology, and Masters level Director of Religious Education Certification from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. He was ordained a Deacon for the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 2005. Deacon George is married to his beautiful bride Therese and they have two children and one grandchild. Besides his love of God and family, Deacon George bleeds blue, Kentucky blue for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Mrs. Jilixza Rodriguez was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in New York City and moved to St. Louis with her husband and four children in 2010. Holy Trinity School stole her from Ritenour School District, where she worked as a Spanish translator and ESL teacher. She is our first contact in the office and always has a smile for everyone.
Sister Caroline works in the English Tutoring Program. She works full time with twenty English language learners, helping them gain English proficiency skills. The English Tutoring Project is a nonprofit organization supported by generous donations from the community. We are blessed to have Sister Caroline and the English Tutoring Project in our school!
Extended Care: Ms. Lisa Kern, Mrs. Gwen Costello and Mrs. Norma Brand
Ms. Lisa Kern is the Director of our Extended Care Program. She has worked at Holy Trinity Catholic School since 2001 and has nurtured countless children in our Day Care program. She has two sons of her own, sixteen and twenty-five years old. She says that she loves her job and we know that the little ones in her care love her.
Maintenance: Mr. Jerry Nagle
Mr. Jerry Nagle has been the main maintenance person at this school site since the summer of 1990. He is responsible for all three buildings, care of the grounds and repair and cleaning. Luckily for us he can handle most plumbing, electrical and building repair or knows who to call. He is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
