TO TEACH THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION CONTAINED IN THE GOSPEL:
A. by periodically examining, revising and evaluating the philosophy and objectives.
B. by offering religious education for all students with emphasis on the relationship between moral development and cognitive and physical development.
C. by bringing faculty and students to an increasing awareness of the principles of Christian/Catholic living.
D. by planning student liturgies and other prayer experiences that enhance and motivate Christian development.
E. by seeking to teach a way of Christian living which reinforces the values of loving acceptance, sharing and mutual concern.
TO WITNESS AS INDIVIDUALS IN A FAITH COMMUNITY TO ALL THAT JESUS SAID AND DID:
A. by sharing teachings of Christ through discussions and prayer services.
B. by motivating mutual respect, communication, interaction and shared responsibility among faculty, and students.
C. by encouraging and facilitating cooperation among faculty and students.
D. by involving all persons affected in decision making.
E. by providing an environment where growth is encouraged for both students and faculty.
F. by actively working to keep channels of communication operational among students, faculty, administrators, and parents.
G. by cooperating with agencies and programs concerned with the development of the student and faculty.
H. by aiding students in developing an appreciation, understanding, and respect for cultures other than their own.
TO HELP THE SCHOOLCOMMUNITY INVOLVE ITSELF IN THE SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS OF SOCIETY AND HELP THE STUDENTS BECOME PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY:
A. by utilizing the professional skills and talents of faculty members.
B. by constantly adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of the individual student or group.
C. by helping students experience comprehensive learning in the cognitive, affective and psycho-motor areas.
D. by helping students comprehend with Christian insight the problems of today’s society.
E. by encouraging students to become actively involved in serving people and others in their own community.
